Will have to try the DNS test again (with custom), but on the first try, having given it the VM DNS numbers, the Superhub 2 (in router mode) provided local cached DNS, blitzing the cached score compared to anything else

I know for a fact Apple use a CDN for their services. I was told as much by my trainer when I went on a course for maintaining content on iTunes U. IIRC we had to host the content on our own servers, but once the number of downloads per day went above a certain level (around 250 IIRC), Apple's CDN took over the hosting.

AFAIK, Microsoft does as well. Not sure about Corel.

In this day and age, it's more common for people to use a CDN than not, especially anything that gets any amount of traffic.
