No need Hugh it's more than likely me as my feelings on drink drivers are strong and I'm still very raw tbh trust me no one will ever understand until they see the devastation on a family this selfish act can cause.

Absolutely weenie there sould be a complete ban on any alcohol and drugs if you are a motorised vehicle driver or motor bike and even push bike riders.

This has been suggested in the past regarding alcohol but, apparently, would be unworkable. For example, if someone had had a liqueur chocolate after dinner, or used certain mouthwashes, there could technically be a trace of alcohol in the blood, but as little as to not make any difference.

Also, the body naturally produces small* amounts of alcohol during it's biological processes.

*There is a condition called auto brewery syndrome where the affected person can become over the limit without drinking any alcohol. I imagine such people would be banned from driving on mddical grounds.

This is someone who can afford a chauffeur and now he'll have to employ one for a while.Le's hope he can deal with his demons and if he can't then he should continue to let someone else drive.
