By that I assume you mean spoiler tags ?

They wont be neccessary once its aired.
If you dont want to see spoilers after that, dont read the thread.

Re: Lost In Space

ok, so there are a few things bugging me and it is to do with the pace. I love flashbacks but I could have done with episode 1 being an origin story, explaining the situation on earth, showing them doing their training, being introduced with the ship so we can be shown round it, going off into space and the crash happening at the end of the episode. You need to set it up properly and cannot assume everyone can remember/has seen the original series and know the story. If this is all we are going to get at the end of episode 2 it is a bit lacklustre because the other gripe I have is the way all the characters are behaving (insubordinately) and the children panicking all the time demonstrates a lack of training and discipline. There should be a clear chain of command which they should give them reassurance to follow in emergency situations and their training and knowledge should easily have given them the confidence to overcome some of the situations they have been in.
Going back to the pace thing, it is the little things which really bug me and I need to see certain things being done or said so you know it has happened and it is real (my realism factor). You went from them all being on the surface straight back into the ship and undressed melting ice and doing whatever else. I know the dad and the robot were down there giving them a head start but I would have liked to have seen then make there way down (however they got down there) or at least see the dad on the ship tell them they can come down over the radio. I don't like big jumps in the story like that.

I won't do anymore moaning till I have finished all 10 eps (unless something really annoying happens).

I didn't mind not having it all totally linear. We know roughly how things happened and the little flash backs filling us in gradually on what took place and how certain character came to be in that situation.

Also having just the family on the ship meant they could get away with having the ship auto pilot go wrong.

I get that they wanted to change things up and also having the parents separated and the awkwardness of them all being a stuck in their situation and having to overcome that as well made me enjoy it more.

I get you feel the pacing is off and you want to see them actually going from A to B but sometimes that slows down the story and is not helpful to moving things forward.

All 10 watched. Totally loved it and can't wait for a second season.

The last few episodes really picked up the pace and the ending was unexpected.

I really love the sets for the Jupiter and the design of the ship itself. Hope there is a model kit at some point.

Ive only seen Ep 1 so far, but this was pretty much my view.

Mostly, enjoyable, the whole stuck in ice thing dragged on a bit, and the conclusion to it was totally predictable.
