The father-of-four was arrested on suspicion of 'terrorist crimes through murder', Swedish prosecutors said on Saturday. Police have said he is 'likely' to be the driver.
The man, believed to be from Uzbekistan, was wearing a balaclava, with broken glass on his clothes. It seems the suspect was on a wanted list after being told he was going to be deported after failing in his application for residency. I wonder how many migrants there may be wandering around the EU who're going to be facing the same fate and will wind up becoming radicalised and seeking revenge. :shrug:

I've been in the city centre a fair bit recently, and even at around midday there are large lorries, vans, etc, delivering to shops all along the PEDESTRIAN areas. And some of the drivers are not happy if you don't get out of their way! Controlled entry and exit, but what's to stop another vehicle being nicked by some nutter and driven the whole length running people over? As just happened in Sweden?
