So who ever threw the first punch, should be sacked (perhaps both).

I mean I want to punch a few idiots I work with but if I did I would be sacked.

I've heard on the radio earlier that no punches were thrown and it was more a case of a bit of a scuffle with a very unfortunate outcome. I guess it'd be in the interests of some to portray it like that though so I'm still open minded...

The UKIP MEP involved in an altercation with Steven Woolfe has said he "categorically did not" throw a punch at his colleague.
Mike Hookem acknowledged he and his colleague had a "scuffle" in the European Parliament but insisted that he did not hit him.
"I am innocent," he told the BBC. "I never threw a punch. I never assaulted him. I will stand my corner."
UKIP's Steven Woolfe will be kept in hospital for a further 48 hours.
Thursday's incident is being investigated by UKIP and the European Parliament, where it has been announced the inquiry will be led by Conservative MEP Sajjad Karim.
There have been varying descriptions of what happened during what UKIP called an "altercation" and Mr Hookem told BBC Radio Humberside only he and Mr Woolfe knew precisely what went on.

Someone yesterday said that if he had punched him then why was there no mark on Woolfe?

Worth noting the reports of the 'punch' came from within UKIP. Something is going on.

Punch to the body? Punched might have missed or just grazed him? Maybe more of a lily-livered 'slap' which missed than a proper punch? If I were going to punch someone the last place I'd choose is the head. In all likelihood there was no punch and I think it's going to boil down to the usual combination of Chinese whisper style confusion and exaggeration which often accompanies events like this. I can't see what anyone would have to gain by lying about this, even if they don't like either of the parties concerned.

Problem with UKIP is that they have no direction now .All those UKIP members would not normally be seen dead in the same room as each other ,the only thing uniting them has disappeared so now it's going to be a slaughter house

Punch on the chin or that sweat spot on your jaw just below your ear won't leave a mark, it'll knock someone out though

Wouldn't want to meet you on a dark night Daddy ;)

Obviously as kippers, their swivel eyes will have naturally unbalanced them. I reckon one accidentally opened a door in the others face, however the punch up story sounds less embarrassing....

Solar plexus is also pretty effective so I've been told.

Perhaps they should forget electing a leader and have a knockout boxing competition? :D

A 4x2 is better as it has a higher tensile strength but.

Whether a blow was struck appears to be bye the bye, it is alledged (so far) that he hit is head on a rail. It may be a punch was thrown which he avoided but sent him off balance causing him to hit is head on said rail which caused his injury.

Will we ever know? I doubt it.

It is good that an enquiry is taking place but will it result in a cover up?
