Netflix and Amazon Instant Video. Netflix is my brothers account, Amazon is mine. We share each others accounts.

Seems like everyone account shares. So many people at my work who use Netflix but its their brothers account, or their sons accounts etc... Crazy stuff.

And then people moan when services put their prices up. Do people no longer think that the right thing to do is to pay for the services that they use?

I was merely responding to Chad's post. It happens in forum discussions.

If prices rise because some people don't pay for the service, then other people may be limited to how many services they can afford to subscribe to. Therefore it does have a bearing on the thread title.

i have 3 devices Roku, Apple TV & Chromecast.

I have access to Netflix & Now TV. Havent bothered with Amazon Prime yet.

I use a VPN to stream US networks and then use my streaming devices to 'cast' / 'airplay' to my TV's.

I have subscriptions to NHL Center Ice and MLB.TV. Dont bother with NFL Gamepass as Sky Sports meets most of my needs and i am not a big enough fan of NBA to justify more expense.

netflix amazon blinkbox (tesco ) wuaki and sky ( sky boxes chromecast roku couple of smart tvs couple of smart blueray players laptops tower pads and a firestick )

im on netflix and the wwe network. had amazon it was decent. but i think ill keep netflix over that currently. a lot of people talk about sharing accounts. think thats a pretty good approach until they get a bit more stricter with these things

If there are 4 people in the same household who share and use it then personally l see nothing wrong with that.

I can see the point your making but I don't have a problem sharing services with my direct family. If my parents asked to use my Amazon Instant Video account to watch a couple of movies or shows what kind of son would I be if I told them no?

I don't see an issue with people in the same household. that would make sense in my view. But that is not what some people are doing when they are sharing account details.

Has there been any difference to Blinkbox since Tesco sold it?

Do those with more than one different streaming service just plug their sticks into various HDMI sockets and toggle between them with the TV remote? Does it get confusing having lots of remotes for the streaming services on top of the cable box, TV remote etc?

What happens with streaming services when a programme or film is about to expire?

If you start watching a film, say, at 11.30pm that expires at midnight, does it cut you off or let you watch it until the end?

If the system crashed I imagine that you'd miss the ending, which would be very annoying.

The three main UK streaming services, Netflix, Amazon and Now TV can be covered by one device; certain LG Bluray players, or, just recently, by all accounts, Roko have just added Amazon to their devices which could already access Netflix and Now TV. I personally prefer a combination of a Fire TV and a Now TV Box, even though my LG bluray player would access them all.

The alternative to a whole bunch of remotes, is a universal remote control, such as the Logitech Harmony remotes. These control 8 or 15 devices and some will control the Bluetooth Fire TV. Harmony's that don't have blue tooth functionality can still be used with the Amazon Fire TV by plugging a FLIRC into the USB port of the Fire TV.

Most services give you a heads up when the rights for a show are about to expire.

There's nothing wrong with sharing accounts. If Netflix didn't want you to share then we wouldn't be able to add profiles. If Amazon didn't want people to share then you wouldn't be able to add accounts to your Prime.
