Well it has certainly improved the looks. Most modern cars would be improved by restyling with forward and reverse at 30MPH into 100 tonne blocks of concrete.:erm:

Modern cars look like they do because they've been built to crash in to concrete blocks and knock down crash test dummies without giving them a scratch.

Too true - 5 star crash test ratings don't make for durable cars.

Just look how heads turn when an Audi Quatro GT passes. Most cars these days are just rubbish

I must admit I'm no fan of most current styling. I favour practicality over style, nice wide loading areas, plenty of seat/head room, sliding rear doors are great too.

With you there m8. It's the reason I keep the Metro alive because it's so practical: Big easy access tailgate with a low sill, MPG that you can actually achieve, not gimmick ridden, and it's actually a drivers car that's fun.
