IDS a popular man of the people - Ester McVay (failed TV presenter) - Grunt Shapps - The one that looks like Mr Spock.

Boris is my only choice to replace David Cameron.

Well I find myself in complete agreement with Damien. Think I'll need to take a sedative and lie down in a dark room.:D

We've had clowns and idiots, why not a Joker?

TO be honest a glass of water could do a better job than Cameron.

But I do like Boris, especially after his appearances on Have I Got News For You :D

Boris has the charisma and charm as well as the intelligence, albeit sometimes well hidden under a layer of buffoonery. Beating the odious but highly experienced Red Ken twice on his turf took a lot of doing and for that he'll always get a great deal of credit from me. I think he'd grow into the role and wouldn't be forgotten in a hurry whatever the outcome.

Boris Johnson is no fool despite his positioning himself as one occasionally and it's paid dividends for him with many underestimating him in the process and I have no doubt he'll be the one taking the job when Dave disappears. Sadly though he isn't that old school a Tory as he's more in step with IDS then true conservative beliefs which were to provide for the vulnerable who through no fault of their own needed help a lot of Tories have forgotten that part of what they were. Only obstacle to him is what if any backlash there might be against the public school brigade should they lose the election by those Tories that will be keen to distance themselves.

It's actually very true that is.

we don't vote for someone to listen, work, to do what we want.

we vote for someone to do what the hell they want. and what they think is best. and to take all our money to give to the rich people.

what a load of poo it all is.
but we get very excited for it all.

me. I'm normal. I take no notice.

He's not eccentric, it's an act, the fact people seem to still be drawn in by it is shocking imo, he was amusing at first but I soon tired of his act, just hope the electorate feel the same before it's to late as make no mistake he is a pretty shrewd, very ambitious chap gunning for the top job.

He certainly plays up to the image but I think the very fact he does qualifies him as eccentric. It's certainly an unconventional approach to politics where the usual approach is media managed safety as seen by Blair/Cameron. However I do think he does have some initial eccentricity.
