I know Glasgow can be slightly dodgy at times, but Taggart would have you believe there were major horrific murders everyday and that all cops had a drink or gambling problem....

Of course the old look at that CCTV footage thats of a fuzzy car licence plate or a person so out of focus you can't possibly identify them, but lets zoom in even further and somehow use a magic bit of PC software to magically make it not only in focus but also somehow make the image extremely high res so you can see every little detail on the parsons face!

Just about anything to do with electronics.

A recent episode of inventions that shook the world featured the inventor of the video game. The valves used were two decades too early whereas the PCB circuits came from two decades too late.

Most peeps wouldn't know the difference but it grates to a tech.

I think we can probably cover this thread by saying just about anything to do with anything!

Coronation St. Most of the residents seem to have been married to each other, or if not, having an affair, spending time in prison, fighting or arguing, fiddling the books etc. A Psychologist would have a field day evaluating the residents of that street.

I suppose that's just because all Scottish Police officers are just so damned sexy and great they have to shoehorn one in at every opportunity. :)

Aarrgghhhh that annoys the hell out of me. One senior cop I'm aware of wanted to have CCTV of a car enhanced to show the license plate. The original footage showed the car going left to right across a screen and never showed anything below the drivers window...

Reminds me of the Red Dwarf episode where they uncrop the picture the zoom in on the reflection in a drop of water to see something behind the person taking the picture.

At least they new they were doing a spoof.
