Well I do believe the, far left wins. Communist regimes have killed at least 100 million.

Nazis, and I'll include Islamic extremists in that, still way fewer.

So to go with your favourite, your chances of being dead, increase.

Good job I'm blonde 6 ft with blue eyes.

I don't think nazis, stalinism and maoism are fair reflections of either ideology and I couldn't envisage any of those three being carried out in their extremities in this country

I'm not ignoring anything, nor have I personally criticised anyone.

Feel free to start your own thread criticising the dubious associations of individuals from other parties should you feel inclined to do so.

That's the problem though isn't it, Soviet Union, Cuba, North Korea. No country properly adopts the communist model. There are still an elite ruling class.

Even in " our" society, you get the champagne socialists of the Labour Party, that have NOTHING in common with the working man.

You'd hope that there are enough workers in the party or their union ties to keep the champagne socialists in check though or at least a bit in touch, anyway not to derail the thread further...

I'm sure most people do things they regret later in life, not really sure what makes this special.

Yup, and I bet some of our leading politicians have done the most awful, duplicitous and hypocritical things which they don't regret at all - apart from being caught out that is...

That's not a nice thing to say about St Nigel.... ;)

Maybe a 'comparative saint' is all some folks require. ;) Of course power tends to corrupt and we all know what absolute power does so let's hope he never acquires that.
