There's generally a cut off for these things to be calculated. I know in the past, benefit payments were done at the rate of inflation every April according to the rate the previous September.

My mobile tariff ("unlimited" everything) is going up 10% from £15 to £16.50 on 22nd July.

Probably because they are having to reduce EU roaming charges to 18p a minute and 5p a text.

That's one of the SIM only tariffs, which is probably why it's different.
