Got excited when i first glanced at the headline for the new sim bundles on another site, until i realised you still have to take a landline with them :(

Don't disagree about the line rental cost - but at the moment everyone quotes in the same way, so Virgin Media will do the same
It's really up to the ASA |

Not that the ASA should take that in to consideration. No one should be able to say a service starts from £x.xx when it clearly does not. |
Re: Liberty Global to reveal 1st Quarter Results on May 6th.
Although I do think it could be done better across the industry, it does get a bit complicated when you are advertising to both new and existing customers, and have a Line Rental Saver option which at least both BT and Virgin do.
Saying 'total price is X' when if you pay the line rental saver it isn't could in itself be classed as an incorrect advert |

-ARPU per customer now at £ 49.26. -During March, the U.K. government announced a change in legislation with respect to charging VAT in connection with prompt payment discounts. We currently believe this change will result in a reduction in Virgin Media's revenue, OCF and operating income of approximately $47 to $50 million from the effective date of May 1, 2014 through the end of 2014. However, in light of our strong Q1 OCF performance, we remain confident in our ability to deliver mid-single digit rebased OCF growth at Virgin Media in 2014. |
