Possibly, but Smallworlds location and the towns it serves is what makes it more attractive.

VM has Core Nework all the way up the West Coast and into Kilmarnock so connecting the Smallworld Network to VMs will not be a problem.

There's also, so I've been told, a lot of duct that was laid that remains uncabled which VM will be able to exploit.

I don't see Wight fibre as being so appealing.

I am on an look out for an 'Smallworld insider' to give me latest information from Smallworld areas - about channels being axe or new channel launches.

They will can be EVEN be an Smallworld viewer.

Personally, I can't see anything will be done to change the Smallworld services at this stage. Any changes would come as part of the change to VM services.
