Well the 55-300mm turned up today, tried and tested it and it's great. Very pleased with it. A lot bigger and heavier than I expected.

Now been put away till Xmas. :(

Bit late as you have already got it but I had a Sig 70-300 great lens but a tad slow to focus especially on moving target.
