good point dude, at least they have learnt one lesson. Although it may not be the most cost effective in the short term, I think this has proven that if you invest in quality you gain customer confidence and loyalty and you reduce your labour costs in the long run through lack of phone calls to tech support. I only hope that they end up doing the same thing with the shub in 2 years when they roll out docsis 3.1. I hope they see the light and go for a tried and tested branded residential gateway.

These things change so rapidly as to be near meaningless, though if something consistently stays in the top 3 that's an achievement in itself.

I was about to say the same thing, these things can change on a weekly basis. That said, F-secure is still one of the better ones according to VB100:

I'll stick with Eset Smart Security.It's passed every VB test 100% for the past 12 years.

I used to swear by Nod32, until I got hit by a nasty trojan that it just completely missed.

TYhat's why I also have Malwarebytes. The 2 complement each other and cause no problems running side by side.
