This is a very sad case. BUT, no matter what is said by schools or local authorities, Bullying will continue.

I am nearly 62 years old and l got bullied at school for five years at my school. This will NOT stop unless schools stop coming out with all this crap about we will not tolerate bullying on our premises.

If parents report it, they are almost certainly told that 'its the kids imagination' they will not believe it. schools have a responsibility to parents and the kids while they are at school, and the head teacher should be fired if its proven that it was reported, and they did nothing to help.

RIP little lad, but its sad he took his own life due to idot and sick kids who think its fun to bully other kids.

Bullies can't stand up for themselves they feel inferior and weak, that's why they bully.

Bullying really needs to be sorted within schools.

A few weeks ago a 12 year old attempted to hang himself locally to me but thankfully he was found by his mum in time after she wondered why the family dog was barking like hell upstairs.

He was being bullied for being gay at school and having txts and emails.

I was Bullied in school. I was Bullied till I joined the Army. Then I became the Bully out of necessity. I took great delight in meeting my old school chums, one who stood at a urinal when I grabbed him & forced his head down the toilet bowl. Then I stood back so he could see me. He said, "Who are you?". I said "I`m every kid at school, who you beat & stole money from". I didn't leave it at that, & thinking back some 40 years, I don't regret it.

I was lucky, this young lad`s life has been torture to the extent he preferred death, & that makes my blood boil.

The only thing a Bully fears, is a bigger Bully, & thankfully most meet one, & suffer the consequences. I`m not proud of what I did, I have done much worse, but I`m afraid where children are concerned, there should be more supervision, & more punishment.

Sort out the children now, & save the Police & Prison Officers a job.

Hmm... maybe if a few more bullies saw what could lay in wait for them 10 or so years later - maybe that would prevent them doing it.

I think the issue is that for the kids that bully, most of their parents don't care - how can you punish the kids, when the parents won't back society up?

Yes we will have to see when it comes to the inquest because it looks pretty shocking on first inspection.

this is disgusting those children should be taken in for special help they really need it, but would 9 year old children really say these type of things like "all white people should be dead" and "next time it'll be a real one" or does it sound exaggerated?

When I turned 11 I was slashed by a 9 year old with a knife and he knew what he was doing, so yes they do say things like this plus I have seen kids younger been racist to other kids, the kids that did this prob get it from the parents so I say just throw them all in a pit to rot.

They might well say stuff like that if they've heard their parents, elders, peers etc. say similar things. They might also embellish racist messages they've heard elsewhere in their own childish manner. The internet is full of hateful messages posted by kids and children of are largely a product of their parents and the environment in which they're raised.
