I can't see a problem with the OP starting a new thread. He asked a different question here, moving from a new router to a new modem. It's just that the topic has swung back round to the router - quite sensibly.

heres the thread where i posted what the issues were. http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/12...e-problem.html

anyway ive now bought a asus RT-N56U, hopefully this router will solve the problem otherwise i will have to assume that i have a defective superhub.

unless you can think of any other reason i might be having these problems

I personally would have gone down the defective SH route first myself. If it was that then it would have been a free fix .

Although im happy with the router i have bought i should of realised it could of been a dodgy modem at fault. Are there any any signs that would tell me that the router is faulty? warning lights ect

You could've tried modem mode with one device connected first.
