Not really, IF VM hadnt gained BT for free i certainly wouldnt have downgraded my package and lost sports. ESPN was free and they made that clear. Compared to other providers VM have worked wonders.

Sky were offering a credit to Virgin users who switched and wanted BT Sports and BT were offering it free anyway. I don't think there's many customers who will be paying for their subscription to it. basically it's been one of those times where competition really does provide better value for the customers, whichever their provider.

Sky and BT are also going to be doing well out of their football deals from wholesaling as well as ad revenue, so again, everyone's a winner really.

The Sky deal for Virgin Media customers seemed good until I read the small print to find out it was only for SD and you had to pay extra for HD. Never mind still with Virgin, always have been, always will be.

How is it a good deal when it's a minimum of £12 a month on Sky and £15 on VM? To upgrade to XL costs a lot more than £15.
