Yeah, I've been having EPG issues recently, set Tivo to record programmes only for the EPG to have listed them wrong and when we play them back find they are completely different programmes.

Didn't say it was hated by most users, said out of my friends and family they didn't like it.

Also noticed loads of people complaining about the Tivo on VMs Twitter Feed and Facebook Pages.

I suppose it is a bit awkward to go to the sites and go through some of the other non relevant posts but they are there, quite a few, many having the same issues. Some TBH are non-issues and just down to customers not knowing how to use the box.

Some people having to have their boxes replaced several times.

I don't mind my Tivo, just want it to be more responsive.

There have been a couple of recent events where there were changes in programming for later that same day. Not only did the V+ EPG update to reflect the changes, planned recordings were moved to the new time and correctly recorded. It looks like VM can cope with changes if they are informed about them. A possible snag is that a change may result in a clash with other planned recordings and not get recorded for that reason.

On Satellite and Freeview the broadcasters can send EPG updates out 'on-the-fly' can can update last minute changes too, the BBC are excellent for keeping their EPG data up to date.

Think the conversation started here

I don't find out about many the errors til later when I play them back, not really been paying much attention to TV last couple of days. When I'm feeling better and can bother with TV again and I remember I'll start making note and post them up. But get very tired at the moment and not long out of hospital as heart deteriorated a lot more in a short space of time and struggling doing even basic things.

I'm male, name came about from the name of the company we set up, named after my eldest. (Though, wound up now).
