The GUI are much the same.
For me the wireless is vary good and stable. Not had any issues with speed or drops. Range covers my flat fine.

Compared to my RT-N56U the 5GHz is slightly stronger and the 2.4GHz slightly weaker but overall pretty similar coverage around the house and garden. I'm using it in modem mode and everything looks good:

compared to my old VMNG300:

Yup - I have to agree with the others here... for the past few weeks, I have thrashed mine to death, and it comes bouncing back each time.

The ability to use both frequencies at the same time is a nice bonus

At the moment 5ghz is very under used in my area and i find it to be excellent, that might change as we see more NGSH's being deployed.

That is a very good point made by Sirius - Hardly anyone uses 5ghz around here - I bet as folks replace equipment due to age etc, my excellent wireless will drop!

Yea I seem to be the only one around my street with a 5ghz wifi.

Generally the 5.2GHz wifi tends to be stopped by walls more than 2.4GHz, so there can be more users in a locality before it starts conflicting.

I'm more worried about the 2.4GHz users getting the SH2, their signals will reach further...

Just line your house walls with thick lead haha (external walls)
