Indeed and he had previous history as well.

The family are saying he had breathing issues and a shadow on his lung. Not that it would be known to the people in the shop he pointed what they would think is a real gun. They would have just reacted to what they would perceive as a threat to there lives. I would think most people would have done the same.

No sympathy for the guy at all. The people responded to what they believed to be a life or death threat, I think most of us would have acted the same way.

Just think. If he had actually served the 4 years he was sentenced to he would still be alive right now.

So 3 cheers for the current justice system then...

Another update

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-21244825

Quote:

An investigation by the police watchdog into the death of a masked gunman who died attempting to rob a Plymouth betting shop has been concluded.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has said inquiries should now "be subject to a local investigation" by police.
Quote:

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: "We do not anticipate, at this time, any criminal proceedings being taken against those who detained the deceased.
"These key witnesses acted bravely under difficult circumstances and showed a disregard for their safety."
Good!
