The first two paragraphs in this post are all I need to know with regards yourself and facts.

Which - to stray on to the topic - is why I can't take you seriously on this or many of the other things you say.

But and this is important I'm in no way saying you shouldn't comment.

Thanks for letting me know why you have formed this opinion.

Whilst I agree that it is sensible to take things on the internet with a pinch of salt unless evidence is provided, some peoples need for constant affirmation
for irrelevancies is unreasonable.

For example, if I posted "Sky Atlantic" starts on VM tomorrow, it would be reasonable for someone to want proof.

If I said "it's currently raining here", I would expect people to simply accept it, without the need for dated photographs etc.

In that particular thread that you linked to, I was stupidly asked to provide proof of an opinion that I had formed over the years of my life experiences.

Does anyone know if this threat is a reality?

i doubt if you are acquainted with reality ...[/QUOTE]

The words "industrial action" were not specifically mentioned, but that's what I inferred from your statement.

This is now your opportunity to clarify what you were actually trying to say.

It is not mandatory for you to end each post with a rude or acerbic comment. You can make your point without resorting to this.

There is no truth in anything that is being posted in relation to any form of industrial action.

To be honest i think that a certain poster is attempting to get a member of staff in trouble by starting this thread and i feel its totally out of order.

i think some one might find himself on the wrong end of a lawsuit looking at the title and the assumptions made .

I see that your desire to stir things up by spreading misinformation has not diminished.

Allow me to clarify things for the benefit of others:

- I have never attacked someone, nor would I, simply because they happen to work for VM. What an absurdly preposterous thing to say!

- I have never used any thread for the purpose of attacking VM staff. I think that Sirius is confusing this with holding an alternative viewpoint.

- I have no record of any thread being closed for the reason that Sirius describes.

- If Sirius has any evidence that there will not be industrial action, i'm sure myself and other customers would welcome evidence of this. It is not clear where he would obtain this information from, as he is not even a member of BECTU

- Why and how on earth could papa smurf get into trouble for his post, this does not make any sense at all. In any case, i'm sure that he is more than able to look out for himself, without the need for your intervention.

- The purpose of this thread is to try and ascertain if VM TV customers will be impacted at Christmas by any form of industrial action by BECTU members.

Bearing the above paragraph in mind, does anyone have any concrete evidence of what VM customers can expect at Christmas?

So he has started a thread where he has inferred that there is going to be a strike at Virgin Media at Christmas hoping he can create fear of losing TV over the Christmas period.

Richard has no evidence that there is going to be a strike and that is because NOONE has stated that there is going to be a strike other than Richard C.

So nothing to see here other than Richard attacking VM staff AGAIN

He has posted this on digital spy as well under the broadcast section. No idea what his motif is as personally I saw the smurfs post as tongue in cheek?

Wow!

Talk about turning something on it's head.

First you state

Then you state
Quote:

You inferred he meant something, and are now asking him to prove the opposite...

Please state who you think may wish to take legal action against me and why. To keep the thread on topic, please do this via PM.

This is a further opportunity for you to clarify what you meant, if you disagree with my interpretation of what you said.

The ONLY person in this thread that has posted that there is going to be industrial action is Richard

Make your mind up readers as to who you think is telling porkies, answers on a post card please

If it was tongue in cheek, fair enough- all he has to do is clarify this.

You are confusing yourself between two posts made to Sirius and papa smurf.

I believe that papa smurf was inferring that there may be industrial action. As at this point in time, he has not stated anything to the contrary.

The request for proof, to put peoples' minds at rest, was made to Sirius as he has categorically stated that there will be no industrial action.

He takes great pleasure in attacking vm staff members on here and has even threatened to report staff on here to VM.

Nonsense, quite the opposite. I am simply seeking clarification of this issue. As for "attacking VM staff", I refer you to the first paragraph of post number 20.

There is only you that has stated that there will not be industrial action. Whilst this is welcomed, it cannot be taken seriously without factual evidence to support your statement.

we seem to have dug up a ton of weapons grade bullonium .

The one thing in this thread that cannot be taken seriously is the OP.
