Re: Deja Vu. But it took years to get here again.
your on 10meg download and 1meg upload. the SH hasnt updated to the latest available firmware. your downstream power levels could be better. your upstream power level is good.
---------- Post added at 23:23 ---------- Previous post was at 23:20 ---------- pinhole reset the SH > http://help.virginmedia.com/system/s...MER_TYPE=Cable be sure to hold down for around 20seconds. all lights on the other side will go blue. |
Re: Deja Vu. But it took years to get here again.
It's not going to 30 until April. I'm happy for it to stay at 10meg and work like it has done for the last few years up until a few weeks back when it all went south.

Re: Deja Vu. But it took years to get here again.
I'm seeing some off the scale spikes in the latency and it's only been scanning for 24hrs.

Re: Deja Vu. But it took years to get here again.
can you please leave your SH on.

dont turn it off at night or when you go out or when its not in use. just leave it on.

Re: Deja Vu. But it took years to get here again.
Oh right. Well I can see the red part where it's off. It's the huge yellow spikes all over it when we are using it that's the issue. I think.

Re: Deja Vu. But it took years to get here again.
did you pinhole the SuperHub and if you have did it downloaded the latest firmware?
could you log in to thinkbroadband and post the live monitor. http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping/monitors.html click on Share Live Graph then Generate and then copy and paste everything in the box labelled Small Graph (500x219 px) - BBCode (for forums; not yet supported on thinkbroadband forums) |
Re: Deja Vu. But it took years to get here again.
Red is where it was off last night.

Re: Deja Vu. But it took years to get here again.
Nothing wrong with the TBB graph. It's the blue (average) that matters. It only takes the odd ping to be high yellow and you see that on the graph necause it's the maximum.
So what goes mental? Just the yellow? Or your internet speeds? |
Re: Deja Vu. But it took years to get here again.
The internet becomes almost unusable. Pages will not load, games kick you off. Nothing on line works.

Re: Deja Vu. But it took years to get here again.
During that blip period (which lots of us had yesterday, including me), the upstream (which is essential for gaming) willbe severely affected.
