Re: Problems with Homegroup and PS3 Streaming

I wonder if this has something to do with the Superhub's inability to handle multiple IPs on a device...

...or its general inability to work as a router

Thanks. I'll set that up later tonight, and I'll post results. I assume I just leave it ping for duration if movie, and then stop it and copy n paste result?

Whats the command to stop, just hit esc? Don't want the ping Window closing before I get to copy n paste!

At the end of the test you'll see counts for packets sent, received and lost. The sent and received figures will be identical and the lost figure will be 0 if your connection from the PC to the TV is OK.

Ok, have successfully managed to set up ping between tv and pc. Do I have to be streaming something to test this?

Sorry if that is a stupid question but it was pinging without any stream.

Only that missing packets occuring at the same time as a break in the stream will show the problem is network related...

It's incapable of even acting as a plain switch, don't get me started on the router part...
