don't want to be the creator of doom but you will have problems with it at some point.

I'm due to get a new SH tomorrow, this will be my 3rd inside 18 months.

R30 firmware was far better than R36 I must say.

I've had a shub for ages now, and never had any problems with wifi. But it all seems to depend on interference in your area.

I've been told that things like TV's, monitors, and microwaves can cause interference, as can your neighbours wifi. Although my shub sits right behind 2 monitors (one of which is also a TV).

I have also been told that Apple products don't work on channels 12 and 13. And that there is a known issue with Blackberry phones causing shubs to reboot.

But if you aren't getting any problems now, then there is no reason why you should in the future.

Do you have a Blackberry phone? There is a known issue where they cause the shub to reboot.

Minor problem? Today, Internet & wireless OK but couldn't log into SH; power off and back on and fixed it no prob - is this one of "those" problems?

Question, what should my upload speed be on 30M, it's currently 2M ish and I have one upstream channel (8 down) is that correct?

The shub has many problems, one of which is what you describe. 30/2 is correct because it is the old upload speed of the 20mbit tier. It will eventually go to 30/3 to make it 10:1. You are lucky you have got 8 channels downstream, you are far more likely to achieve your max speed this way. Everyone is sharing one upstream channel atm while they sort out upstream channel bonding.
