My upgraded speed is rubbish. I cant even get above 30Mb this morning. I'm going to have to call them up to sort it.

How did you test the speed?

Also I would have thought yoru Max Traffic Rate on the upstream should be double if you been upgraded to double speed....

My double speed upgrade is due in July. But 100mb just came into my area mid lastweek. So i called them yesterday and asked to upgrade to 100 and was told yep no problem no extra charge. So im on XXL 100. My upload speed won't be upgraded till July.

Anyway, I've been on the phone to the 100Mb support peeps, ran thru a number of tests and now i've got a network guy coming over tomorrow to repull and rewire my house. I've had this cabling donkeys years since Videotron came so early 90's. Hopefully it will sort the issue.

rang VM 8.50 to upgrade now or wait till july and get it for nothing

I upgraded for free. 50 to 100. Ring again tomorrow and they should be able to do it.

just rang virgin up and got a upgraded for 2 pound extra a month included new prices for price increase and £9 loyality discount for 2 years.

only downside is upload speed is still 5 meg and power levels are way out and have a attunator fitted

I only have 5Mb upload as well. I've read somewhere that we'll get the upgraded upload speed when the double speed roll comes to you. So for me its from July.

i've read somewhere that u can get it already but u have to be on certain package gonna ring up tomoz see why i'm still on that and why my power levels are high

oh yeah, you gotta be on proper 100Mb not XXL 100Mb. Im not looking to pay anymore than i currently am so im just gonna stick what im on right now.

should get it tho mate i got promised it on fone tonight i would get 10 mb upload u pay for it mate. end of the day ronnie who ever put order through enter wrong code and u end up getting wrong upload speed at 10 to 1 ratio

Thats not how it works.

if you call up for an upgrade you may get the download speed but wont get the upload till your area is ready no matter what anyone says.
