Sad little man desperate to cling to power and as the election draws nearer he will sink to lower and lower depths in his attempt to win. In someways i hope they do withdraw from a part of the EU as that will be the first step in it's total collapse.

You're not suggesting the French take the bits of EU policy which suit them and ignore the rest are you? Quelle surprise!...... :D

Immigration control is THE hot topic that could see him ousted.

His own background (son of Hungarian Pál István Ernő Sárközy de Nagy-Bócsa and Greek Jewish Andrée Jeanne Mallah) has added a little extra "piquancy" to his rise to the presidency of France. Many consider him to be an "aristocratic invader from the east", and his jewish roots make him a target for much muslim vitriol.

He was parachuted into most of his political positions whilst the voting populace knew nothing of him at all, and the political machine kept quiet until he was elected president.

The cr@p hit the fan when he married Bruni, who many regard as a "harlot".

Not being funny, but at least France have the guts to say it, except for the UK, who just sit back and allow it to happen.

Its like a certain pierce of head gear that has been banned in France, the UK have allowed to continue to prevent any upsets.

Unlike Mainland Europe, the Uk is not full of racists and Neo-Nazis, clearly they have fogotten how hard it was for us to kick the Nazis out of Europe!

If the French has sense, kick him out and vote for François Hollande (not the Hitler loving Marie Le Pen)
