Great thanks pretty stupid showing me every thing for the lower packages then, can understand showing more expensive stuff or stuff I don't yet have as some one mentioned previously, but multiples of the same thing that have been superseded the logic fails.

Lazy coding and design IMHO.

No, it's a limitation of the current software, not VM being lazy. You should know what package you are on.

Sorry I was laying this at the feet of VM, Believe me I am very understanding of the situation VM are in with the reliance on a 3rd party's implementation and not fitting with their use. However having a menu system for a device that that will deal with multiple differing packages and not allowing for superscedance / inheritance is either very bad system design or lazy (corner cutting) coding.

But then this is tivo's first attempt at using their system as a tailored product, and that completely changes the design rules.

Where you btw?

I am near Portsmouth. I have noticed the listings being wrong on one channel in particular. I am embarrassed to say it is E!. I have timed in two programmes using the EPG for the last three weeks and 3 out of 4 times the wrong show has been recorded. The Soup and Fashion Police. Mock me all you like, they are funny!
