Any scheduled work happening now won't be for TV. TV integration is a huge job - not least, a new headend needs building for Carlisle, as VM doesn't currently have any Borders region headends. Broadband and phone integration will happen first as it's much more straightforward.

1) Are any local shops going free in Carlisle - rent one of them.

2) Virgin may need two after September 18th.

3) Any idea on how long this integration will take? Base on info I seen when Virgin took over Smallworld rumours say it will be join up by 2015.

They will have their own, but not one that would work with VM kit

He's worried Scotland may vote for independence on 18 September, and speculates that separate head ends may be required for services either side of the border afterwards.

Can I ask:

A) Has STV Glasgow launch in Dreghorn, Irvine, Kilmarnock and Troon in Smallworld areas?

B) Has Forces TV also launch on Smallworld?

If so what are they channel numbers?

Is this channel list right?

http://mediaboyblog.blogspot.co.uk/p...tv-lineup.html

If not what has been remove or added*?

*What channel number?

Post info online or PM me.

Thanks for any info.

No because they aren't in the broadcast area. Uddingston was added I expect due to the slight overlap on Sky and Freeview compared with VM

Quote:

As far as I know, nope as they are not listed on the Forces TV website. At this stage I can't see any new channels launching on Smallworld - any channel additions for customers in those areas will come as part of the swap to Virgin Media services.

Re: General Smallworld Discussion

Can I ask:

If all the following channel still broadcast in Smallworld areas:

•Sky1 +1
•MTV +1
•Travel Channel +1
•Food Network +1
•Movies4Men
•MTV Classic
•Channel AKA
•Now Music

Was on Smallworld list dated March 2014.

Thanks for any info.

Can I ask, is it really worth the effort of finding out? It's only a matter of time until it's all integrated with Virgin Media anyway. And I'm not even sure we have any active Smallworld members ...
