Is this really a fault or is it a Spurs fan writing the epg data?

Virgin Media has seen the funny side and has vowed to fix the glitch.

A spokesperson said: "Over the weekend a temporarily overzealous profanity checker took offence at certain programme titles.

“The altered titles have been swiftly an*lysed and we’re fixing any remaining glitches."

Im sooo sorry but it has to be asked....

Did they outsource the profanity checks to India or something?

no, it was a technical glitch. Should all be sorted now. The adult EPG filter should only be on the Adult Channels.

I see the joke passed you by :P

Also I wonder if it censored the word Virgin...... (still joking)

Pity they've fixed the so called technical glitch regarding the blanking out of certain letters/words on the EPG

The female TV cook of yesteryear F**** cradock's being shown on the Good Food channel over the Christmas p*****

There's also the top 20 Al**** of 2011 on one of the MTV channels

Just wondering if it would've appeared as above if the censorship was still in force

I know it's all irrelevant now but it really was a case of it all being quite pathetic!

I was looking through my BBC News app on my Galaxy S2 last night and the story has appeared on there as well. I did smile at Virgin's official response though, I thought it was amusing.
