The reason is they would have to run three co-ax cables to each box,

Catchup is a pretty big feature IMO.

The only STB that work with Sky are ones that sell aprove, so sadly no

Catchup will end up on anytime+ at some point , to be fair many can get these services on a multitude of devices , I receive them on PS3 , 3DTV , Connected Blu Ray player and we've just bought an XBOX 360.

I'm pretty sure the average punter doesn't understand how catchup is delivered nor care , granted if your on a poor ADSL line this could be an issue , I'm sure once Sky have a fibre product this will then become less of a factor anyway.
