Well you're free to make your own decision. I've given you my suggestion, and largely I agree with DaiNasty. It's a surefire way to break things easily if you're not careful and will rarely give you any noticeable benefit. Registry cleaners are unlikely to fix whatever is causing your problem, as there are other far more likely explanations for it.

Agreed. If you have the skill and the equipment to do a drive image then you are safe enough. Even if the registry cleaning does break stuff at least you can roll back to a working state.

However, as per the last post I believe reg cleaning is largely snake oil.
