We are already paying a substantial amount to Virgin which includes 7.00 for Sky premium hd channels and l have no doubt that will probably go up later this year so l think we have every right to question why Virgin have not got them at the present time, we seem to be getting less channels and yet pay more money to Virgin at the present time.:(:(

£7 is for Sky HD Premiums, not XL TV which includes basic HD. I'm guessing ITV want a bigger slice of XL subs.

also if Sky put up the £7 charge then blame them.

This is the downfall to no HD charge some people it suits , others who want more it doesnt. The Sky premium HD charge won't go up , especially with HD becoming more and more mainstream. It's amazing how every thread ends up Sky fault , the op question was when will ITV 2 HD end up on VM no mention of Sky.

Well it is somebodys fault and l believe the Sky HD premium charge will go up along with Skys usual SD premium channel rises as well later this year and stop sticking up for the dark side as well.:(:(

I was answering Denphones comment on SKY HD £7 charge.

I never mentioned lack of ITV HD being Sky's fault.

Just contact ITV about the Hd channels and this is the reply that I got:

ITV is happy to negotiate with all subscription TV platform operators regarding carriage of its High Definition subscription services. Currently ITV2HD, ITV3HD and ITV4HD are available to viewers with a Sky HD subscription only. Any changes to this arrangement will be announced on our website, however.

ITV2 SD is horrible quality - I really can't wait for ITV2 HD to arrive.

Is Celebrity Juice in HD?

Yep like I've already posted, no exclusive deal their happy to work with other pay tv providers.
