No one here has pointed out the obvious.

He can give the superhub if he wishes to nothing stopping him doing so.

It just will not work :-x

You've missed the point Chris, even staffers are saying it could work as may not have been removed from the inventory, is being connected in the same area and presumably has never been registered to an account.

If the Superhub MAC address is not listed on the OP's account as per normal then it may be possible to add the modem to the neighbours account, no guarantee though.

Also note the use of could rather than would.:D

I think ones sent out by tech support/CS quite possibly get registered before shipped, so those may not work if moved. But I would guess ones on a tech van like jb66's stock wont be registered to anyone until they get activated.

As Chrysalis has already stated if the Superhub has been sent out by us then in all likelihood it will be listed against the OP's account and if that is the case then it is a paperweight.

Well no, the newer hub will have replace the old one and if the process has been done correctly the old one will have been cleaned from his account.

Thus addable .. I could add it :D if I were allowed to help people on these forums .. (but I'm not.. so don't ask :o:)

Sometimes people do not remove the MAC from the account so that is my scenario, not supposed to happen but we know that it does.;):D
