Genuine question. Was the RF Out port not included on the Samsung box deliberately to try and stop people feeding the picture to more than one room and therefore be able to charge them for an extra box? Or is it just a coincidence?

Just not needed anymore. Most people use scart or HDMI, so keeping it would only benefit what you wanted to do.

Not at all. Apart from the HD/SD limitations on the SA V+, all VM boxes have two active video outputs. We've simply moved from SCART+RF to HDMI+SCART. RF is old hat.

VM won't officially provide support if you have a problem distributing video around the home, but nothing is done to prevent you doing it.

OK. Thanks for the explanation. I guess I'm lagging a bit behind the technology, but I only replace things when they go wrong, not just because they're a bit old.

I've ordered a Scart/RF modulator (or as I call it, a flux capacitator). Hopefully that will solve my problem.
