Re: The New UK Crime Map Website
Hi there my name is Callum Bowen and I ‘am currently in the process of doing my dissertation project at University of Wales institute Cardiff in where my aim is to create a Web based Crime Statistics Mapping Application using ‘Google maps’. The idea is to try and plot crime statistics onto my Google map API and show the statistics at a street level view. Until recently there has been a newly introduced site as you’re aware by the police, http://www.police.uk/. My idea now is to allow users to be able to add their own Crime Statistics anywhere on the map and hopefully I was hoping to get some valuable feedback for my dissertation to whether or not this idea is a good idea and would users use my site?
