Yes I do mean 9%, that's based on gross pay, i'll work it out based on net pay if you need me to, but obviously that'll work out higher. I'm slightly puzzled by the "you have total control" bit. All i'm trying to do is to make sure people are aware that private sector management strategies such as job evalation, re-structuring, mergers, redundancy is/are, happening in the public sector. It'll be interesting in a couple of years when the LA I work for is basically Councillors and a couple of directors/senior managers who are sat there controlling and directing private partner organisations. |
