You appear to be forgetting that the adrenaline that is produced can be for fight or flight, which are both defence mechanisms....

I pointed it out because in your post following that one, you seemed to be stating it as a fact; it may be true for diabetics, but I have seen no literature supporting your premise for non-diabetics (and I am fairly sure that the drunken thugs are mostly non-diabetic).

I really don't understand you. I wrote, "It has been a long held belief of mine that.........." I really fail to see how anyone could not have assumed that I was expressing an opinion.

If that's the reasoning I think they might be thinking of what their grans used to say about not running with lollipops in your mouth, not sure drunken yobs will pay that sound advice much attention tbh

Well, to be honest, I am not really sure what he is saying. He was trying to suggest that I was writing about documented facts, when it was clear I was expressing nothing more than an opinion.
