All this is just speculation and will get us no closer to the launch price.:)

If it actually works without bugs freezing requiring reboots or total faliure when loss of power in some instances then I may consider a couple of hundred notes for one. If its in any way buggy I aint interested

But when you buy the TIVO box will it belong to you?

Re: Box Upgrade Time

Probably not so it will be an 'install fee' as always. But the good news is free repairs if it breaks down :)

Re: Box Upgrade Time

It won't be more than £150 will it?

Re: Box Upgrade Time

I very much doubt it, they might decide to go for a monthly fee like they did with the V+ originally, we just don't know yet

Re: Box Upgrade Time

Is there a reason why when I originally asked for a second V+HD box they said I would have to pay £10 (Don't know if that included the £5 that pays for the normal V Box now) instead of the regular £50/£75 for the box? Even the engineers thought that was strange.

Hopefully they won't be doing anything like this with the TiVo, and even more so I'd prefer to own the box outright.

All Vboxes remain the property of Virginmedia at all times, you cannot own a Vbox.
