Photo Pro X3 does the first process of extracting all the files, this took almost 10 mins alone on my system and my CPU went to 100% i thought phaps my system was over heating so i took it to my mates house and did a test install and uninstall on his and he has a Pentium i5 650 which is 3.2Ghz with 4GB ram and it was much the same.

Don't forget Serif Photoplus, quite adequate for many tasks.

SE version for free, version 9 for £9.99, and once you're on their books, you'll get typically half price offers on the new stuff and very cheap offers on previous version.
