Re: Orange iphone unlock for £20

Hi, Just wondering if someone can help me,
I just purchase a Iphone 3GS 8Gb 4.1 8B117 for the girlfriend for Xmas,

was suppose to be unlocked but only to Orange/tmobile/ virgin.
The girlfriend is on o2.

Would the orange shop be able to unlock this for me? - phoned orange and awaiting a call as it wasnt registered but would however take 30days, (my old man is 15 months into his 18 month contact so just shoved his sim in and called..)

what would u think is the best method on unlocking this phone before xmas? any tips very welcome,

thanks

Re: Orange iphone unlock for £20

Its not unlocked at all, Orange, T-Mobile and Virgin use the same network.

Try putting an Orange SIM in and go into the shop and see what they say, I'm sure they'd be happy to take your £20.

Re: Orange iphone unlock for £20

I have just been given a locked orange iphone (maybe 3g or 3gs). I am not an orange customer, I already have an iphone on 3 mobile tarrif.

How can I unlock my new orange iphone to use with my 3 sim?

Any ideas?

Call Orange with the IEMI - they will check it's not stolen and the for a small fee they will send you an unlock code. Doesn't matter if your an Orange customer or not.
