Unsurprising. The second series was very weak, flabby and lacking any clear vision of how the story could be developed.

Shame, but it didn't really match up to the original for a true indication of the difficulties of living once the modern day industry, agriculture and other infrastructure had lapsed which is where the real interest of the original lay, instead getting too embroiled in the mysterious consipiracy rubbish of why was the virus created.

I hate it when a series like this ends with a cliffhanger and we never get to find out how things pan out.

At the very least they could have done a one-off extended episode to give us some form of closure.

The second series was so poor it was inevitable. I wouldn't have wasted my time watching if it had been made.
