I personally wouldn't go out and buy a fantastic expensive TV upon hearing something like that. I'd make sure I have the channels before splashing out.

I am sure the 30 Channel claim was by August 2010 after the last batch of HD channel launched.

can't see I have ever seen anything like that officially from VM anywhere and they would be pretty stupid to promise that without getting the deals signed.

They did mention a few months ago that they'd have 30 HD channels by some time this year.

No, but I think Virgin are hoping to add HD versions of channels such as Good Food and Virgin 1 in the future.

I think with True Movies moving to the L Package that will mean any of the following ''CSC Media Group'' Channels may soon appear on Virgin TV.

Radio 4 LW has not arrived yet and Neither has BBC Radio Manchester on Ex-C&W in Manchester

I can't find the quote I am sure someone will pop along and post a link to one, if you look at post one MB has this listed for July 2010. As it is just before the Investor meeting I can see some credibility in this although my forst ost was incorrect, I do beleieve it was quoted as 20-30 and did not specify if this included the 7 that already broadcast.

I do miss that channel and Flaunt.

Everyone is right and wrong, arthur jsut using it as excuse for paying for hdtv.

During the last quartly results the question and answers there was a question by someone that was how many HD chanel do you think you will have. The response from the CEO was hopefully 20-30 by spring summer 2010 nothing about 2009 and it was not garantee they would have that amount. The problem came since a lot of customer was asked to doa survey on teh HD channels and peopel think that means we will be getting them.
