I'd be interested to see a Politically Correct version of Bingo Lingo - So far I've only come up with -
Number 3 - It's got to be PC. Ideas anyone? :) |

Re: To Quote the council Rep "politically correct"
I wonder if "Gordon's den - number 10" will also get outlawed in case it offends tramps and feral individuals who live in a den?

Re: To Quote the council Rep "politically correct"
The sad fact is that now the term "politically correct" is banded around for every stupid decision that is made.
Why sad? Because there is nothing wrong with being "politically correct" ! The term political correctness was first coined by right wing Americans who did not like the fact that societies view of language had changed so much that now they could no longer call people that were black.......well...I shall let you guess! |
Re: To Quote the council Rep "politically correct"
What a load of old tosh in my opinion. The whole fun of bingo is to have the "two fat ladies" like sayings. Etc.
This country is becoming a bunch of whimps. Politically correct. Pfftt. Ill say what i want, when I want. Just another case of "Big Brother" |

Re: To Quote the council Rep "politically correct"
It's no wonder this country has real problems going unresolved when this sort of rubbish is concentrated on. For me i want councils to make sure rubbish is removed, areas are nice and safe and doing what we the public need them to do not interfere in ridiculous things like this. There is too much involvement of authority in matters that they shouldn't be anywhere near and while they are busy making the country "a better place to live" it is not a happy place to live anymore. No one agrees with or supports nasty bullying but a bit of leg pulling has always happened but these days you can get people done for it rather then learning to grow a thicker skin which is the best solution we really are becoming a nation of pathetic namby pamby little whingers very sad.
