Re: Email down again ?

I can't send using VM (@ntlworld address). Only seems to have happened after upgrading to Thunderbird 3.0.

Is this just me, or is anyone else having problems sending?

Re: Email down again ?

Hi. I'm still unable to connect with Thunderbird after it being like this for about a week. I can connect through the NTL webmail, but I can't see the messages page, only the settings. Anyone getting this or just me?

I seem to have a problem sending e-mail. Recieving it is ok but sending fails with the error message;

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'sue', Account: 'pop.ntlworld.com', Server: 'smtp.ntlworld.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

If I can receive mail the password & settings are ok. I have not meddled with any settings. My pc is vista using windows mail, everything patched up to date. I accesses my webmail & it accepts my addy & password ok.

I would welcome some advice please guys.
