I just wonder if anyone will be daft enough to set up a CS system using their VM broadband connection! ---------- Post added at 17:45 ---------- Previous post was at 17:43 ---------- Quote:

Re: Starview
I love card sharing, mainly as it needs a fully paid up account to do it and as soon as the card files get posted VM then shuts the whole account down and bans the account holder for life :D

Re: Starview
No card files are ever posted, CS works purely by sharing control words in a peer to peer fashion. However, servers doing the sharing are easily traced - even easier for VM since the sharer will almost certainly be using their network and it would probably be killing two birds with one stone if it did the required investigation, knocking off the CS server and a cloned modem.

Re: Starview
Trust me, someone somewhere takes the info and thinks it's smart to post online.. Whether it be the daily key or the card share server IP

Re: Starview
Yes, CS tends to be carried out in closed circles for those reasons. Software would still require VM specific modifications , since it isn't vanilla N3, even then the most commonly available VM boxes wouldn't work with it - only 3rd party receivers. It really would be too risky and too much effort to use CS with VM but over time it might happen and VM need to be pro-active in investigating and prosecuting should that need arise.

To hack N3 you need 2 people A hacker to hack it then a another hacker to decode the layers info that is protecting the card. Then you get people saying its early days at moment for it to be hacked.USA and Spain ect had 2years to crack it |
Re: Starview
Great news the freeloaders will have useless set top boxes shortly.;)
My bill is usually £100 per month and would hate to think that people can access all channels for nothing |
Re: Starview
all great news
but its only a matter of time b4 they get boxes back up and running |
Re: Starview
How much time, do you suppose? As has already been stated, N3 has been in the wild for about 2 years now, and nobody has cracked it yet. If I were freetard ****, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a quick fix.

Plus this is just the first move before they move to iptv according to some. That will make it even harder to hack. All in all the thieving gits have lost as can be seen by the desperate posts on there forums about using Satellite instead  To quote a post on one of those forums when asked what there options are now they cannot steal cable Quote:
