What you're reading isn't correct.

Re: It's official 'virgin Media' have won the war againts piracy.......but for how lo
I broke Nagra 3. Hammer and chisel on the smart card, that sorted it.
On a more serious note Nagra 3 has stood up for a while now, in numerous countries. Nagra 1 and 2 were broken elsewhere, these same places haven't managed it with Nagra 3 as yet. There is absolutely no reason at all to think that we in the UK are magically gifted or skilled and will be able to bring down Nagra 3 in weeks when they couldn't given years. Why do you think the dodgy box manufacturers and sellers here are 'diversifying' into Freesat ;) Quote from someone with a clue: Quote:

My sincere apologies Mr Ben, :erm: I thought the discussion was about " Illegal Activities " We cannot pick and choose what is Illegal and what is not if it is Illegal, can we? ;) |

How about we stick to the OP's original topic please.

There is a way round it. I know some guy called Richard, bung him £40 or £50 a month and he'll give you whatever channels you want.
Even got his own website, if you want the details. :D:D JJ |

Just to clarify, talking about an encryption method and whether it's secure or not is acceptable, talking about explicit tools, methods, hacks is not whether it's ontopic or not.
It's the same as saying a vauxhall astra is easy to pinch is one thing, linking to a tool that is purposely designed for you to pinch the car or telling people how to rip off the steering column and which wires to put together is not. If you wish to discuss this further then in private please and not in open thread as there's already been enough warnings in here |

The Vauxhall Astra Nagra Mark III isn't so easy to steal though;):D

Well I am glad the updated cards are going to be sorting out the boxes, just wish they could do the same with the modems.

With a bit of luck more people will start paying for their channels so the cost of all this wont be passed on to the customers........................there again it might still be :(

By Easter next year we'll all be watching iPlayer and You tube TV channels on our broadband connections and dropping our TV packages.

Won the war against piracy? Nope, NTL lost the war...
In a different way.... You get a "WD TV live" and you have all movies you want. Why pay Virgin? And you have blue ray-HD quality, max it out during the night. Virgin ain't offering that. Oooops, yes they do, free via newsgroups.... Just choose every evening the movies you fancy, let them download during the night.... No need for giganews or astronews whatever ... Sorry off topic but its the right direction for piracy ;) The only cost is 10TB of hard disk to store all those 20G blue ray movies.... |
