Thats right, BT wont charge me to install the line. But Im pretty sure they'll charge me to end the 12 month contract a few days later if I moved the line to Skytalk.

well thats what they will do, remember if you get a line with bt for skytalk which you will need the line, you will end up paying the remaining balance of the bt contract, thats always the case, thats because theres no other way bt can make money from you, remember its all about the money, lol.

I'm presuming you're an existing customer?

The only customers Sky will set up a line for (from scratch, either activation or installation) is brand new customers - where the charge is £39, or customers with Sky Talk already who are moving home - where the charge is around £105.

Existing customers without Sky Talk are not eligible for the product.

Paul, I honestly wouldn't go with them, having been with them for two years, I've gone over to cable for my Telco and Broadband as sky, although they say up to 10mb or 15mb, can't guarantee it, so I was paying top dollar for just 3mb, they wondered why I wanted to cancel.

We can help you get a BT line

to me (and maybe the average joe) that implies if you haven't got a bt line, then they can arrange to get one. but the lines following didn't mention installation at all.......a bit ambiguous i think.
