Nothing to do with the colour of their skin Norm, it was a comment on how Osama's funds are drying up, I didnt say or imply that they were passing on the stolen monies to some terrorist organisation, you read that into it all by yourself ;)

Now asking if I think that some white lad & lass who can trace their heritage back 10 generations would never do such a despicable thing is implying that I have racial\BNP tendencies :p: which I dont.

Skin colour didnt come into it untill you mentioned it :D

Oh to be PC all the time.

At the end of the day they are pots of money. and thieves don't have a conscience and they don't discriminate.

2 sentences Norm, one says "you can guess where that stolen money is going" Which implies nothing other than the reader can take a guess where the money is going, followed by a factual sentence that it has been widely reported in the press that the money funding Osama is dwindling quite quickly.

If the reader reads more into that and links 2 sentences then thats the readers interpritation. I didnt mention colour, or imply. I must apolo, say sorr, beg forgi, bow my head in sha, ahhh crap read into it what you will, you read into it, your wrong IMO of course :p:

You could say any money stolen is going to Osama then. I read that comment as a reference to terrorism and their appearance as middle eastern.

I think almost anyone reading would read it the way TN and Damien did (I did) - not many people make two random unconnected statements on one line, next to each other (there are, obviously, some exceptions, but al isn't usually one of those posters).

When caught, I suggest taking them to the nearest army base and leaving them there so they can have a chat with some serving soldiers.

I saw an old guy in the street having a go at a (Romanian?) woman in a crowded shopping street. She had a Poppy Appeal tin and was trying to get it filled by passers-by.

Or was it nicked and she was trying for a refill?

The way she ran away from the old guy suggested the latter.

I was stood at one of the high tables in my local pub last night, two females came through the door dressed in haloween costumes and approached us. The one spoke very politely but with an unmistakable accent, she had an unmarked container with a slot cut in the top. Her accomplice unfolded a scruffy poster with the bottom ripped (looks like it had been ripped from a wall) that was promoting 'Help for Heroes'

She politely explained that they were collecting for soldiers in Afghanistan, I politely replied that I work for a defence company and support the 'Help for Heroes' charity when collections are made at my workplace. She didn't reply and they both slithered out of the door.

One of the barmaids came over and asked what they were in there for, and she passed this on to the landlady. About an hour later when the pub got busy they appeared again, this time the landlady went straight for them. She asked for their ID, and when they didn't produce she told them to leave. Upon return to the bar she confirmed they were known to her and from the local gypsy camp.

Nice to see them doing their bit I suppose:rolleyes:
