Having downloaded the demo (and the equally large General Knoxx DLC for Borderlands) yesterday, I have to say that God of War III is mighty impressive.

I was interested in the game (and took a look at Dante's Inferno too) but having played the demo late last night I can see this is another game I'm adding to my buy list.. Really well done, might have to get 1&2 also as I've never played them :shocked:

According to one of the Dev team there's no cutscenes it's all done in game which is impressive considering some of things going on :)

I played the demo yesterday.

I found it kind of boring :erm:


I got the God of War Collection last year (US import, as it's not being released properly here), & couldn't really get into that either. Initially impressed, but soon got a bit bored. Just didn't grab me. Keep meaning to try & get back into it, but it just doesn't have that "thing" that makes me *want* to play it.

I couldn't get into the Collection either. I can't see whats so good about them, reckon any shops would do a trade in for it? If the Collection is something to go by, then I won't be buying this either.

I doubt you'd be able to trade it due to it being American (no BBFC or PEGI rating).

Looks great, but for me there's no "hook". Nothing to make me want to keep playing.

Also being released is the God of War Trilogy boxset, priced at £64.99 RRP, that will include both God of War Collection and God of War III

God of War III has hit the top of the UK all formats sales chart for it's first weekend on sale too.

Now we just need an EU Demon's Souls :)
